34 weeks

How far along? 34 weeks, 3 days
Total weight gain: a bit over 25 pounds

Stretch Marks: Notta one! I am so thankful.
Maternity clothes?  Just when I think I can't outgrow any more clothes, I put on my work shirt (I've graduated from Small to XL over the months....) and the darn thing hardly even covers my belly anymore!!
Sleep: I go to sleep very easily, as always, but lately I've been waking up at 4:30/5ish and not being able to go back to sleep for an hour or so. (and I am NOT an early riser......)

Best moment this week: We went for our Labor & Delivery tour and as we were walking up to the hospital, Keith and I were talking about how SOON Liam could be here. In 3 weeks I'll be full term... THREE WEEKS?!?!?!?!! I mean, hopefully it'll be closer to 6 before he gets here, but the time has seriously FLOWN by.
Miss Anything? You know, I'd really like to wear a pair of jeans. Or, I guess I should say jean shorts right now since regular jeans in August in Hawaii would probably be out of the question.  I never bought any maternity jeans, and even WITH the belly band, none of mine fit. At. All.
Movement:  Just a minute ago as I was trying to type this, he decided to shift around some and my entire belly went lopsided. This happens regularly...NOT comfortable! Running out of space! When it does happen though, I usually give him a little 'push' to shift him out of the way, and I can feel different little body parts... i.e. a butt, and elbow, etc. He's so big!!
Food cravings: Today I had a bowl of ice cream as a 'pre-dinner' snack...I'm considering going back downstairs for a midnight ice cream snack. Yes, I've decided. It's happening, Liam needs the calcium. Also, I don't know how many times this week I asked Keith to take me to the bowling alley JUST for some ice cream. (It seriously is the best ice cream around....)
Anything making you queasy or sick: nope!
Gender: boy boy boy
Labor Signs: Nada

Symptoms: Let's just say my body is definitely getting ready to be a milk MA-CHINE!

Belly Button in or out? outeroo

Wedding rings on or off? On still!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! Though I get grumpy some moments when I feel especially uncomfortable...

Looking forward to: Nursery crafty-ness. I started designing some posters to go on the nursery wall this week, FINALLY picked which fabric I'll be making the curtains out of, and got a crib bumper that I'll be making a cute cover for. I can't wait to put it all together!

Showing? One nice thing about being this very obviously pregnant is that people are so nice to you! Giving up their seats, making friendly conversation, offering you some of their food......

showered with love!

Well, this past Saturday was my baby shower, and what a wonderful day it turned out to be! I started planning and crafting for the shower months ago, and even though it was a lot of work, it was all worth it! Everything came together wonderfully!
I can't thank everyone enough for coming, bringing/sending gifts, and sharing the special day with me! We had both old and newer friends there, and even though I wish all of our families from far away could have come, I'm grateful that my mom was able to be in town for it!

Like my invite? You can order it here!

One of the yummiest, best ideas ever.....

A little 'guest book' that a friend made....
Everyone left a thumbprint and signed their name, and then she made each one into birds.
This is definitely going on the nursery wall!!

A friend that works with Keith made us the MOST AMAZING diaper cake that I have ever seen...

One of my favorite handmade gifts ever.... A sock monkey for Liam!
(Keith does not like 'Mr.  Monkey' for a name, so I'm taking name suggestions!)

Again, we are so so so very grateful to the love we've felt from everyone!! It's hard being far away from family during this time, but our little Hawaiian family makes it just a little easier!

I was so busy last week that I sort of skipped my 32 week update....
So on to week 33, time sure is flying!!
How far along? 33 weeks!
Total weight gain: a bit over 25 pounds
Maternity clothes? Indeedy-roo, maternity or just laaarrge sizes!
Sleep: I am still sleeping pretty ok, but it's getting harder and harder to get comfy....
Best moment this week: The WONDERFUL shower!! And my birthday was last week, too, I keep forgetting about that! That was fun. :) Ate right on Waikiki beach at Duke's, AMAZING fish tacos and Hula pie.
Miss Anything? A margarita to go with my fish tacos would have been realllly really nice....
Movement: Alllll day, and it's starting to hurt!
Food cravings: Not necessarily a craving... but a hula pie right now sounds quite delicious!
Anything making you queasy or sick: nope!
Gender: boy boy boy
Labor Signs: I don't think so. I don't think I've had any Braxton Hicks yet, and I keep wondering if I'll really know I'm having them...

Everyone says yes, I will....So I'll wait and see!
Symptoms: Heartburn and awwwful leg cramps, and it is hard to be comfortable at all. :/ Might as well get used to that, the next 7 weeks will only get worse.

Belly Button in or out? outeroo

Wedding rings on or off? ON! I haven't really had any swelling yet, so that's one thing to be thankFUL for!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!

Looking forward to: Now that the shower is over, it's time to finish putting my nursery together!

Showing? I have to admit, hearing 'you're about ready to bust any day!' is getting slightly old.... I'm NOT ready to bust, thanks! I still have to put up with this for nearly two more months
But I do plan on enjoying it the best that I can.

Maternity photoshoot--31 weeks

This week we got some maternity photos taken!
The wonderful Katie Baker from Katie B. Photography did them for us and I was seriously blown away by what a fantastic job she did!
I know that not everyone that reads my blog sees my facebook, so I thought I'd share some of my favorites here as well. (And favorites of these amazing photos were VERY hard to choose, so I may be sharing quite a few!)
I would recommend Katie to ANYONE and everyone I meet. Not only does she charge a ridiculously affordable price, she's super super sweet,  she takes aMAZEing photos (as you'll see)! She's also from Colorado, is a Broncos fan (!!!!) and is having a little boy due just four days after me!!
If you're on Oahu and need a photographer for anything, look her up. :)
or on Facebook, Katie B. Photography.

How Far Along:  31 weeks
Total weight gain: 25 pounds
Maternity clothes? And not much else!

Sleep: Still sleeping through the night!

Best moment this week:
Maternity photo shoot
Miss Anything? I really miss being COMFORTABLE!

Movement: all day, every day!

Food cravings:  Right now I could really go for a nice big thing of onion rings.... I haven't had any in a loong time...but it's 11:49 and I don't know ANYPLACE near here that would have them. Probably for the best....

Anything making you queasy or sick:  Still getting a little queasy-ish over coffee/anything hot really. It happens when I have tea, too.

Gender: It's a boy!

Labor Signs: Nope! But I was talking to my co workers the other day (my boss is also pregnant, and due on the exact same day as me!) and I said, you know, what if I don't realize that I'm having contractions? Or what if my water breaks and I don't realize it? Like, what if it happens in my sleep and I think I've just wet the bed??

HAHA they laughed at me...if only labor could be that easy, eh?
Symptoms:  arrrghhhlllll I'm so uncomfortable like, every second of the day it seems like. It's uncomfortable to sit. Uncomfortable to stand, uncomfortable to lay down. My belly just feels so full and stretched and tight. Thankfully *shew* I've gotten zero stretch marks as of yet, though!

Belly Button in or out? OUT! I can now officially see my belly button through my shirts.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time:

Looking forward to: My parents get here this week, and then my shower next weekend!
Showing? doi!

30 weeks!!

How Far Along:  30 weeks, 5 days Total weight gain: 25 pounds still
Maternity clothes? HA! I might switch to only yoga pants soon.......

Sleep: Wonderful

Best moment this week:
Getting out my baby shower invites... I can't believe that's in a little over two weeks! & I went shopping for a dress to wear for the shower and also one for my maternity pics, which are being taken Monday. (Not only did I go shopping, but I actually found TWO dresses and LIKE how they look on me!! Bravissimo for that, I'm more picky than normal about clothes these days)
Miss Anything? SO MANY of my clothes!! The shirt in this picture is a shirt that I literally have worn maybe once since we moved to Hawaii. I didn't really like it very much, but so many of my favorite shirts I can no longer wear. :/ I will say this though, (to contrast all my complaining) I am trying to really enjoy these last ten weeks of being very obviously pregnant and being able to dress up my bump. I've heard a lot of new mommies talk about how they miss it, so I'm savoring it while I can!

Movement: all day, every day!

Food cravings:  Sweets lately! Cupcakes, cake, cookies, ice cream, mmm!

Anything making you queasy or sick:  I wonder if you can start to get morning sickness this late in your pregnancy?! I was nauseous in the first trimester a little, but lately I've been getting soo much indigestion after just drinking coffee in the morning!

Gender: It's a boy!

Labor Signs: Nope!

Symptoms:  I FEEL like I could just pop! Liam moves around so much all the time that I can see it through my shirt and he gets wedged in the most uncomfortable positions. I constantly nudge him to move throughout the day. I am having cramps almost every day, which I suppose is normal as well. And right now I'm laying in bed typing this with the WORST heartburn.

Belly Button in or out? OUT! I can now officially see my belly button through my shirts.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time:  happa happa happy

Looking forward to: Shower and then finishing L's room!

Showing? I get asked at least 3 times a day those typical questions... when are you due, what are you having, is it your first? etc. etc. etc. Today I told a cashier that I was 30 weeks and she said, 'Wow, you look like you're about to pop!'. I'm not sure yet if I should take that as a compliment......
